Metal pulls energy together in a room and is the balancing element for wood (which will be the female of the twins dedicated to the WOOD tribe) . Metal stimulates i ntellectual abilities while bringing the energy of the room together. Metal is associated with "protection"...all important attributes for a species that needs protecting. Both Heart of Gold and Gold(en) Star sound the same in Mandarin, and are spelled very similar, altho the Chinese characters are different.

hadn't seen the cubbie pics.. just checked them out. TOOOOO adorable. This is all so exciting, and thanks again for organizing this for us my friend. ;-)

Glad you like them Darlin!!! I have been scrounging the internet all day on Chinese websites to find photos and using Babel Fish to decipher some of the text to make sure the cubs I'm looking at are correct.

It's sure fun to have so many infant images of them and we will be able to watch them grow from day one.

We had the opportunity to adopt pandas from the 2007 brood but it seemed as long as we had a chance to adopt 4 newborns we should just go for it!!
